Demonstrate Against Plymouth City Council Cuts Budget

Monday 28th March - between 12:30pm and 2pm

The council announces it's cuts budget this Monday.

Unlike many councils around the country, PCC have been keeping a very low profile, almost as if they are trying to pretend that there will be no cuts in Plymouth.

Nothing could be further from the truth!  

Job cuts, closure and rationing of services, and privatisation are all being announced.

Hundreds of jobs are at risk at Plymouth City Council, too many to be managed without compulsory redundancies, and with little chance of re-employment.

These cuts are wrong and can be stopped.

Plymouth City Councillors are making final decisions at their meeting at 2pm on Monday 28th February 2011

Plymouth politicians need to know they do not have our support, and should think again - quickly!
